Adaptive Carbine 4 Night Vision (Advanced) / 6 Hour - 1 Day Course Description - (We only allow 12 students in any given class, to provide everyone the attention they deserve)

Adaptive Carbine 4 is designed to give the advanced shooter the proper carbine techniques in low to no light conditions utilizing night vision. You will be trained how to effectively employ your weapon mounted Night Vision Device or head mounted Night Vision Goggles in a low visibility or no visibility environment. Starting with mindset, the class focuses on the core foundation of accuracy, acceptable accuracy under dynamic stress, and how to effectively balance speed and accuracy with proper weapon manipulation in practical scenarios with night vision.

*This is an advanced applications class. PRIOR Adaptive Carbine 2 or 3 Class or reputable training required.*

Mandatory Equipment - NVG compatible optic, Night vision Unit (rifle mounted or head mounted), Clear Safety Glasses, IR strobe.

Recommended Equipment

Students provide their own gun and ammo: 400rds rifle ammo minimum. 100rds handgun ammo recommended.

A functional and practical carbine or battle rifle chambered in 5.56x45, 5.45x39, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39, 7.62x51. If available, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea. Each student should have a minimum of 4 working magazines.


  • IR (or visible) aiming laser
  • Note pad, and pen/pencil
  • Weapon Light or Flashlight (w/Replacement Batteries)
  • Sling
  • Clothing suited to strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate
  • Rain gear / cold weather gear (seasonal)
  • Ear pro (electronic preferred) / Eye pro
  • Baseball style hat recommended
  • Proper belt to support equipment
  • A holster and magazine pouch that will retain equipment when moving
  • Tools that work on your weapon
  • Weapons lube
  • Water
  • Knee and elbow pads (recommended)
  • Gloves (optional)
  • An open mind
