Adaptive Pistol 1.5 is the next evolution for students whoβve built a solid foundation in handgun safety and fundamentalsβand are now ready to go deeper. This 5-hour course bridges the gap between Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 by reinforcing essential skills while introducing more dynamic movement, positional shooting, and pressure-tested accuracy.
Expect a fast-paced, coaching-heavy session that exposes weak points, corrects inefficiencies, and builds the confidence and mechanics needed to perform when it matters.

Class Size: Capped at 16 students for maximum instructor interaction

Prerequisite: Completion of Adaptive Pistol 1 or equivalent entry-level pistol course

Start: Includes the MMEESS Brief (Mindset, Medical, Emergency, Environment, Safety, Schedule) to establish structure, safety, and real-world context before live-fire begins

β’ One-handed shooting with strong and support hand
β’ Understanding the difference between precision vs. combat shooting applications
β’ Speed reloads and tactical reloads under timed drills
β’ Malfunction diagnosis and clearing with coaching
β’ Drawing from OWB holster with emphasis on mechanics and consistency
β’ Intro to movement: lateral steps, positional shifts, and transitional awareness
β’ Target transitions, scanning, and shot accountability
β’ Developing visual processing and recoil control under pressure
β’ Partner-based pressure test games
β’ AFI target engagement drills for speed, transitions, and accountability
β’ Building the physical and mental reps needed to advance to Pistol 2
